The RYA Powerboat Handling Level 2 course aims to develop a range of basic practical skills that allow you to become a safe and competent navigator, capable of mooring the boat in a variety of scenarios and driving the boat at higher speeds in open waters.
In this course, you will learn launching and recovery, boat handling, buoy mooring, anchoring, departure and docking, and man overboard procedures.
After completing the course, you'll gain skills as a self-sufficient powerboat handler in appropriate conditions, aware of both your own and the boat's limitations.
